Henna Tattoo DirectionsMore than likely your here because you just got a Henna Tattoo at one of our craft shows. Proper care and treatment of your Henna Tattoo will prolong the artwork for up to 4 weeks on some skin types. Even with less than kind treatment you can expect to get a week and a half or so before your tattoo begins to fade out of sight. HENNA INSTRUCTIONS Leave Henna on!!! The longer Henna stays on the skin the darker and longer lasting the tattoo. When Henna is dry enough not to smudge (approx. 40-45 min.), you can cover loosely with toilet paper and plastic wrap to protect sheets overnight. To remove Henna paste -- rub or scrape off with finger. DO NOT use water! Use olive oil or lemon juice to remove excess Henna. Henna will be light to dark yellow in color and will develop to its darkest color in 48 hrs. Coat design with olive oil after taking paste off, before & after showering to protect design. Rub a little oil or use Henna balm to keep your design dark for as long as possible. Design should last from 1 ½-4 weeks.
