Ajoite - Technically, I am a very rare copper silicate mineral generally found within Quartz.  I was named after my initial discovery locality in the Ajo District of Pima County, Arizona.  More commonly I come from a (now flooded) copper mine in Messina, South Africa.  My hardness is 7 and like other Quartz’s I'm piezoelectric, which means under pressure I release an electric charge.

Ajoite is a crystal which strongly helps the emotional body. My vibrational qualities are strongly feminine and are both sweet and loving.  I am often used to tap into Goddess energies. I can help you to release deeply held emotional blocks, soothing fears, sorrows, and woundings both from this life and past lives.  I echo the beauty of both the inner and outer self, inspiring us to bring more beauty into the world with our actions.
