Aquamarine - Technically I am from the beryl family of stones and have a hardness of 7.5 to 8.  Sailors have used me for centuries as a good luck charm. I have been discovered on every continent, and can be found in colors that range from pale green to deep blue, although my blue shades are most prized by jewelers.   

My Chakra color puts me at the heart and the throat, making me a good stone to enhance communication skills and to link us to our heart.  I have also been known for soothing strong emotional reactions; providing clarity of thought and enhanced intellectual abilities.
