Stone Metaphysical Properties Amber - Technically, I am an organic gummy resin, generally born from injured pine trees; under the correct conditions, I harden into amber. Yellow to brown in color, I can be transparent to translucent. I am found along coastlines around the world floating on the sea or washed up on shore. My hardness is 2.5 and I carve and polish easily. I sometimes hold ancient bugs trapped within. I serve as the earths record keepers. I can be used to help you to actually see what is going on around you. I can also be used to link you to your ancestors and to other external sources of wisdom. I am also a strong self-healing stone, and have been known to revitalize my wearer and draw out dis-ease. I help clean the body environment and the chakras. Physically I can absorb pain and negative energy and help in grounding energies into the body. My Affirmation - I call forth the cleansing and healing of my energy field, and I embrace the blessings of physical life.
