Azurite
Stone Metaphysical Properties
Azurite – Technically I’m a Copper Carbonate mineral
with a hardness of 3.5 to 4. My
name was given to me because of my deep azure blue color.
I usually form in massive forms but can rarely be found to form large
deep blue prismatic crystals. I
like to form along side Malachite, another Copper Carbonate, but with a bright
green color. I have been discovered
in Australia, China, Chile, Russia and in the USA. Some of my finest specimens have been pulled from a copper
mine in Bisbee Arizona. I’m
the embodiment of the Blue Ray; my dark blue color carries the exact frequency
of the third eye chakra and is a wondrous tool to use for the activation of this
energy center. I’m a stone of
inner vision and can be used to enhance intuition, dreamtime, and the
development of psychic powers. I
can also help aid those studying a new or challenging subject to learn and
retain the new ideas and information. I
can provide insight into solving problems, sometimes allowing for conceptual
