BrookiteStone Metaphysical Properties Brookite - Technically, I'm a titanium oxide crystal with a hardness of 5.5 - 6. I am most commonly found as a squarish charcoal colored crystal under 1/2 inch in size. My most common color is dark gray, or black, but I have been found in yellow-brown or reddish brown colors as well. Good sources of me are England, the French Alps, and in Arkansas in the USA. I am an ascension stone. My primary gift to you is my powerful ability to aid in the expansion of awareness beyond the physical body. I am a powerful activator of the sixth and seventh chakra centers as well as the etheric center above the head. I work to align the upper chakra centers with the rest of your energy body, allowing for a deep exploration of the subtle realms beyond the veil. My energy vibrations are powerful enough that most people, even those not normally sensitive to stone vibrations, will feel my emanations as a deep pulsing rhythmic vibration. When used in third eye meditation, I can push this vibrational feeling deep into the interior of the head and up through the crown. Allowing the process to continue you may experience your eyes crossing, or looking up to the third eye region of the head as your consciousness expands into the etheric, astral and higher domains of reality that co-exist with ours. In this state one often will become aware of the presence of spirit guides, angels and other worldly beings. I enable you to communicate and commune with these higher level beings. This state of being sometime gives you a cosmic perspective of things, allowing you to work through even the most unpleasant situations, enabling you to learn and grow from the experience.
