Chrysoprase – Technically I'm a green Chalcedony and I'm a member of the Quartz family with a hardness of 7. I'm the rarest member of the Chalcedony family. My beautiful pure green color comes from the Nickel in me. I was first discovered in the 1300's in Poland, but since then I have been found in Australia, Brazil, South Africa, Russia and the USA. I have been used to decorate cathedrals, castles and jewelry made for royalty.

My pure Green color makes me a stone linked deeply with the heart chakra. I have strong healing powers and can assist you in linking to nature and nature based spirits and guides. I bring peace to the heart and well-being to one's emotional, mental and physical states. I can aid in releasing stress, healing 'heartbreak', calming anger and soothing fear bringing about forgiveness and compassion.  I depart a sense of being a part of the divine whole promoting hope and giving personal insight.  I help one to draw out talents and I stimulate creativity.  I bring universal energy into the physical body.  Good stone for nightmares.
