Stone Metaphysical Properties Cinnabar
Quartz - Technically, I am a mercury
sulfide mineral with a hardness of 2 to 2.5. My color is vermilion red or
brownish when impurities are present. I form in areas that are volcanically
active. My raw ore is often what is used to produce refined Mercury. Since I
contain the toxic metal mercury, you should use caution when handling or wearing
me. I have been used by Alchemists as a talisman to
help guide ones life in the direction of their true soul path. I am an ideal
stone for creative people, linking them directly to the creative spirit within.
This linking can bring forth waves of awakening often resulting in the
realization of ones dreams and often creating prosperity. Remember to handle me
with caution as I contain the magical liquid metal Mercury in my core. Mercury
