Citrine – Technically I'm a yellow to gold-brown variety of quartz with a hardness of 7. My name is derived from my lemon yellow color. I'm often created by the natural or artificial heating of Amethyst, which changes from purple to gold at 878 degrees F. I'm born in the USA, Brazil, Uruguay and Russia.

I enhance creativity, mental clarity, will power and sensuality. I have been found to enhance alertness, to attract wealth and prosperity, and to connect the mind to the higher spiritual realms.
