Stone Metaphysical Properties

Cuprite - Technically I am a copper oxide mineral with a hardness of 3.5 to 4. My color is generally red, but I can range from a brownish or blackish red to a pure crimson red. I form in oxidized parts of copper deposits. Some of my best specimens have been found in the African countries of Congo and Namibia and in Arizona in the USA.

I’m a favorite stone of healers; I help in boosting ones life energies. I have been found helpful by those individuals who are working on tough problems in the physical domain. As my color would suggest, I work with the root chakra and bring a strong flow of chi into this area of the body.
