Oregon Opal - Technically, I'm a unique variety of Opal born in Opal Butte, Oregon. Discovered by a shepherd over 100 years ago, Oregon Opal was made popular by Tiffany's and was eagerly sought at the turn of the century. I have a hardness of about 6.  Even after 100 years I continue to be found in and around this area.

I can be used to amplify the entire range of positive emotions and help one release past sorrows. I am believed to assist in recollection of past lives and in the psychic exploration of the past, and to open doors to spiritual experience.

My Affirmation - I open myself to the full experience of joy, releasing anything that might hold me back.
