Tibetan Tektite - Technically I am a glassy object associated with meteoric impacts. I am composed of between 68% - 82% silica in the form of silicon dioxide, and my hardness ranges from 5.5 to 6.5.  I get my name from the Greek word Tektos, meaning molten.  My main colors are black or brownish black.  Where ever a large meteor has impacted the planet, I can be found, although some of my best examples come from China, and Indochina.

In my Tibetan form, I excel in carrying the energies of a number of extraterrestrial streams of communication and information.  My powerful energies have been found useful for awakening kundalini energy and opening chakras.
Like my close relative Moldavite, I too vibrate with high frequency pulsations that can put you in touch with other realities and beings.   My high vibrational energies have been known to heighten the awareness of my wearers, often by enhancing psychic sensitivity, clairaudient experiences and increasing the frequency of synchronicities in there lives.  Many report having the experience of "seeing through the veil" of the physical world more readily while I'm near.
